Genesis Health Clubs Independence is a very fine facility. It has all the equipment that I like, and is reasonably clean. The staff is kind, courteous, and definitely knows how to make you feel appreciated as a customer. My personal trainer, Trent Stephens, is very knowledgable and constantly challenges me to be better. They also have an excellent inventory of supplements for sale. I highly recommend this facility to anybody in the area who is looking to make a positive change in their health.
I have been attending the independence Genesis health club for two months now. My trainer has been wonderful she had walked me through several life-changing exercises. She is very patient with me because I am older mature woman , But the few extra pounds to get rid of. The club is very exciting and motivating there’s so much to do. So many activities to get involved with and the people are amazingly nice.
One day pass $15?!!! Awful proud. That is however my only complaint. I was in from out of town and most gyms I go to on a pass are under 10 for a day. The facility had plenty of free weights with lots of space. The young lady up front held my coat for me too as there were no coat racks. Much appreciated. Next time I visit blue springs I'll debate going back only because day price so high.
I attend Independence Genesis about 3-4 times a week and I overall enjoy this gym. The cleanliness is good. Bathrooms could be a little better but not horrible. Employees are friendly and fit which creates that vibe that its time to Get after it! 4/5 stars for me.
While more expensive than other gyms this place makes it worth it. In a day I can sit in the sauna then go hit the free weights, do a cool down in the pool or on a treadmill or elliptical then relax in the hot tub. Then you can wrap up your day with some yoga.
I have yet to see another gym that can offer all of that wrapped into a nice well maintained package.
