Nothing!!! Very clicky!! Had issues w/Teacher & the whole staff was very rude to me!! Will not let parents participate w/ school or your child!! Have to make appointment...(get permission) to sit in your childs class which defeats the purpose!! I feel sorry for every child in that so called school!! Independence is the worst school district!! Now I understand why the young ones that had to go to any of the schools end up lost & in trouble!! Been a volunteer for almost 2 yrs & not one call yet will let a child walk the halls w/another student because they say they are understaffed!! & these are kindergarteners & 1st graders!! & they expect way to much from them!! The children are stuck in the building all day w/one recess if a child doesn't act up cuz if one doesn't get to play none of them do! PE once a week. Seems like they want to keep the parents in the dark & these are our children & everyones future!! If ya live in this district the only way your child will get a good education is to put them in a private school!!! We are moving because we expect more out of a school!!! They are rude & talk down to the parents!! Even the office employee's are rude!! Nice @ the beginning of then yr but w/in a few months their true colors come out!!! They ruined the 1st 2 yrs of my child & me being able to enjoy these precious moments (yrs) that we will never get back!! PTA only has teachers on board.....wonder why?...not!!! I put myself out there for them & they snubbed me! & nit picking on my child because she can't handle her class.......she is the adult!!! If they can't handle their class then they have no business being a teacher!!! Once again.....Awful school & staff!! Any good teachers are ruining their reputation by being there!!...RUN!!!

Principal is rude, will not work with parents. Staff is rude. Reverse Racism goes on rampant here with no help from any of staff. Principal allows children to read books that are not correct, these are provided by school library. (eg diaper baby series with misspelled words, poop jokes, ect) Great teachers that work here need to transfer elsewhere! As far as MY family and MY kid's education; we are choosing to move out of Sugar Creek area for one reason: The School Is Absolutely HORRIBLE, MOSTLY the STAFF (principal).
