By this point, we were pretty well annoyed at the level of service we were receiving and had reached the point where we just wanted to get some to go boxes and our check. I'm guessing the hostess or another sever overheard our talking as our server returned and already knew we wanted to go boxes, even though we hadn't had the chance to tell him yet.
Was in the Independence location on November 28th and ordered appetizers. The server brought them out and they were burned to a crisp! I asked if they would bring us another order of boneless wings and he did and they were fine. We finished our meal and I had a 2 go order and drove all the way home with it and it was not was ordered. I called manager the next day and gave my info and he was supposed to send me a gift card to replace the meal we did not get. I never received it and am very disappointed in the quality of food and service. It used to be so good. I won't be returning!
To start, right off the bat, our server forgot one of our drinks. It happens, normally not a big deal. However it was almost 20 minutes later before we could get the servers attention to fix the error. In addition, we were never brought any bread. For some reason, our server brought bread out to all the other tables around us, but never brought any to ours.
My first time dining here the other day, and I must say that I am not, in the slightest bit, dissatisfied or disappointed! The environment was great, everything looked clean and 'together', the food was great & the service was Excellent! I also was pleased that everything was so affordable! All in all, for the entire dining experience as a whole, I felt like it was a great value!
After getting our order placed, it took maybe another 15 to 20 mins to get our food. Granted the place was busy, so not really upset about the times. What was annoying was waiting the 20 mins for our server to come back to refill our glasses. When he did finally bring out our refills, he brought the wrong drinks. So again, another 15 min wait for him to come back and fix the error.
Anyways, overall, the food was outstanding as normal, the service was very disappointing. As this was the first time we've had poor service, we are going to hope this was just a fluke and hopefully it isn't like this the next time we come back.
I will definitely be back again, as first impressions will surely weigh heavily against Applebee's the next time I decide to go out to eat!
The food was really good, so props to the cook in the back. What made this a horrible experience for my boyfriend and I was the service provided by our server. We've eaten here several times before, but today was the worst service we've ever received.
Usually a pleasant experience and this was no different! Normally we'd have been rushed and the service we received would never be fast enough, but we came without kids this time and did not rush. Good from start to finish although the Gringo Dip was a little runnier than we like but it was still tasty!
Love 54th street! They get to you quick and Food and service is great! The only bad thing I would change is not allowing people to stand behind you if you sit at Bar for service . It's rather annoying. When your eating and trying to talk to whom you came with . Other than that Food is great service is great.
