The sales clerk was very attentive and was able to fit me in the right size bra thank you Dillard
Really? Can customer service reps especially managers ever say that? At a place like Dillard's?
If the manager is reading this, here is why I was crying: I was going through a lot, between my anxiety disorder and my PTSD, and personal issues, and was at my breaking point when I was told I couldn't return a $200 Michael Kors coat I never wore. Oh, and the sales rep had accused me of getting the coat I was returning dry cleaned before I got a chance to explain anything. "looks likes you got this dry cleaned--you wore it--you can't return it." Not even giving me a chance to tell her I never wore it, but then fabric it is made of attracts pet hair even if I keep it in the closet away my dog. Which I did, since I never wore it. You'll see why if you keep reading...
Their manager accused me of fake crying when I was having an emotional day and returning an item. He said, "I don't know if you are crying to get your way, if that what it is,"
The sale's girl in women's lingerie was awesome !! One on one conversation is something you can not get online ..
I explained I never purchased the coat. My grandmother did. And being a senior citizen, she sadly doesn't notice every little detail like that. He didn't seem to care. What nerve. Then he was all upset I was returning the coat in January, instead of the purchase date 11/20/16. Again, I reminded him the coat was a gift and I didn't have possession of the coat on the day it was purchased. I am adding a star because he gave me store credit, and I was able to return the coat. One other sales rep walked by and was nice enough to give me a box of tissues as I was beginning to have an anxiety attack and crying. She should be promoted. I appreciate her. She is also the reason I added a star.
I feel like I was treated unfairly and judged by Dilliards. I don't recommend shopping here because of my experience, but I am glad they resolved the issue, to an extent.
Excellent service and selection.
UPDATE: within 24 hours, the Head manager called, very concerned, and upset that I had this ordeal. I am grateful. I appreciate his level of customer service. He said he would meet with the aforementioned individuals.
And the manager had the nerve to say that I should have noticed when purchasing the coat that it only had two buttons. Again, assumptions. Maybe Dillard's could have noticed that they were selling bad product.
I came in to return it because of the fabric as I would never be able to wear it and the fact this Michale Kors coat only had two buttons and was missing one. For a Michael Kors coat, that was almost $200 ($192) they sold it with a button missing. You may be thinking "well why didn't you notice when you bought it?" I didn't buy it, it was from my grandmother. And I love her dearly but she doesn't have the best eyesight.
Minnie was soooo much help!!
