We stopped in one Saturday afternoon. Worth the admission price. Quick tour but fun to see.

Loved seeing where Frank James, Jesse James brother, was held. He was treated like a celebrity. An awesome part of history.

A great little nugget of local and county history. Worth the small entry fee.

A historic place in the city of Independence. Tours of this building are offered frequently - including the paranormal ghost tours, which take place in October.

The lady who ran the entrance was very knowledgeable. She not only gave me information on the museum. She also informed me about the surrounding area and other historical places I could visit.
