Place was Clean and unit was very clean and dry. Manager was very friendly, watch out for hidden fees! Would not recommend!
I hardly ever complain but the last two times I was told ( by a female coworker ) if I come in on a certain day to pay part of my bill I would be okay and wouldn't be placed on auction. That day I came in and I was told by a gentleman that I had to pay the full balance I would lose everything that day.... The next time I called and was told January 1st or 2nd was when I had to have my payment in.... And now I'm being told it has to be in tomorrow or it's going up for auction that day. I've been off work on and off with doctors/health problems so I was worried about my bill and being told the 1st of January I knew I would be okay but the 26th isnt what I was told and now I'm being told the 26th.... This is the 2nd time its happened... I was only able to come up with half my payment but even if I worked something out I have to be at work at 8:00am and the office opens today at 9:30am. I really hope there are ways to fix it so I can get my billed paid for and not lose my families belongings. Mostly my husbands boys belongings that he hasn't seen in years, my daughters belongings , my husbands things and mine as well. If I am able to save my families belongings I will know now never to talk to the female coworker in the office about payments and dates because I've been told false information from her twice already and so far I haven't been helped because of this... Stressful....
Joe is great! every time I go in there he is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this location for all your storage needs.
On 8-19-2017 I went to my unit to prepare for my next month move out. I was confronted with a unit that had been ransacked and items left in my unit from others. Apparently people have been coming through the walls into the units as was told to me by Joe the caretaker that day. The had been fixing walls that were damaged. There was a note in my unit informing me I would be seen in court if I was the one who broke into their unit. So evidently we were both victims. I have filed a police report with the city of Independence MO. I will be writing corporate also. Tenants should have been informed of these happenings. Of course I will tell everyone I know to never use these services.
Joe is very helpful when needed and definitely polite. Have no complaints other than the hours of gate times. It should available later than 5 or 6pm.
