It was my first visit with my new insurance provider, and my visit was as pleasant as could be.
I had an emergent condition with my eyes. I was unable to be seen by the physician who prescribed me the medication that caused the issue, or by any other opthamology offices as it was the Friday before Christmas and most offices stated they were closing early. I called the Sabates office in Overland Park where I live. They found me an appointment that afternoon at the Independence location. The doctor and staff were great. The doctor needed to check me out again on Saturday morning so he met me at the Leawood location. They were most accommodating and helpful. Had my condition gone untreated I could have lost my vision bilaterally. I’m so thankful this team was willing to go the extra mile on a Holiday weekend. Thank you so much.
