Don't go here they treat you right if you want good service go somewhere else ok
Horrible customer service out of most of these employees! Items are on shelves marked $19.99 that are $53.99 and the employee told me too bad when I pointed out that there were multiple items on the $20 shelf that were not in the right place
Extremely poor customer service skills. First of all their employees are unaware of other locations hours. I had arrived to this location right after they closed(mainly because I'm used to other GameStop location hours and this has different hours due to the location in the mall). This location had the specific game I needed and I had just purchased some games during their promotion of buy two get one sales. Needless to say we already had the game we had chosen as our third "free" game. I called up two GameStop's and they said it wouldn't be a problem. The GameStop I had originally bought it from told me that as long as I stay within the 7 days I was fine to exchange it. Well I decided I should probably try to take care of it before the promotion ended. I arrived at the mall to see the store was closing. I asked the employee to see what I would need to do to get the game I could actually use. The employee was extremely rude, essentially told me because I didn't actually pay for the game I wouldn't get anything for it, it has no worth and basically a "go away, we don't want you here" attitude. Said my only option would be to either return it for free or trade it in for a quarter of it's worth. I asked if I came back in the morning if I could just exchange the game because it would be the exact same amount and it would be an even exchange. He proceeded to repeat that because the promotion ended that night I would have to settle for what I had purchased, or I could return all three of my games, buy the two back and give the third back for Nothing. I told him I wouldn't have bought the two had I not had the opportunity to get the third for free and told him what the other store had said about the 7 days. He then said "that's for games that you actually buy, this was a promotion, you will get nothing because you spent nothing" ..I'm sorry, but I don't think these employees understand what purchasing or value means, but let me make something very clear. I don't HAVE to buy a single thing from any of these stores. I CHOSE to buy the games and my Pro membership because it just seemed easier and quicker than ordering them online. He also told me all the GameStop's closed at 6..they do not, they usually close at 7. I went to the one right across the road and explained to them what had happened. They said I would be able to exchange the game for something else if I wanted to, whether or not the promotion was in place. The GOOD employee across the street made a point to say "You did in fact get this game and it does have worth, you should be able to get what you want, we will take care of you here." THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE. I also called the store in LIBERTY, and they told me to come by in the morning and they would take care of me no problem, word for word "It just sounds like the associate was being unreasonable, either that or they were seasonal." I went to Liberty and exchanged my game out no problem. Easy as pie, it's just sad that I had to drive 40 minutes to get the game I needed as opposed to 10 minutes had the store at the mall actually had employees that cared about their customers. Overall I will say if you want to go to GameStop go to Noland road, the one right in front of AMC 20, or Liberty, BUT STAY CLEAR OF THE ONE IN THE INDEPENDENCE CENTER. No customer service or care for those shopping.
Tried trading in my Xbox one and the system kept powering off. They insisted it was my system and continuously tried offering me a lower trade for it being broken. I almost took it but denied it because i knew it was not my system. I get home and what a surprise it was NOT my system. What the heck is going on with these gamestops this is getting old. It seems even the ones with good ratings are just the same. I am not happy one bit. I was going to upgrade to the newer version with an elite controller and instead ill be doing it somewhere else. Irritating i was looking forward to getting it today now i have to try again another day.
Repeatedly sold me games that were either for the wrong console or ones that wouldn't load
