Originally we rented through the Liberty location. I was called today and told that the Liberty location had closed and I would now have to travel to Independence to pick up the rental, which is a 45 mile drive for us. The gentleman I spoke with was not willing to help us in anyway or able to provide a single helpful solution to the problem that Hertz created for us, not a problem that we created for them. I continued to offer solutions to try and make this work (such as them bringing the car to Liberty the area to meet us, or them picking us up as was offered with the first deal).
After planning months in advance I am now scrambling to find a reasonable price with another company that has better customer service with only 2 weeks before our vacation.
